My screen is 'hung' on "Screen Wake" and "Notifications."  I cannot  seem to swipe the screen fact to any other screen, not time, or steps or anything.  Any tips?

It was working fine this morning, and at noon the screen got frozen.

I tried to reset, but even when I Connect the charger, it vibrates but it doenst show the charging icon. So i press the bottom and nothing happens!!!

I did restart it and when it freezes restarting helps. My only issue at this point is the inaccurate counting of stairs. Otherwise, I am very pleased and feel that the FitBit has improved my fitness.

Hello @SMM37, thank you for your reply, it's goo to know the restart was helpful.

Regarding the accuracy of stairs, could you please provide a few more details about what you've experienced? Is the number of stairs too high or too low? Let us know if you notice any change after the restart procedure suggested as well.

Keep me posted.

Welcome on board @lemndrpkid! Glad to hear that the steps provided here helped you out. Smiley Very Happy

If notifications are not working, please see: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone. If your tracker is still not receiving Notifications after trying these steps, please try the following:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Open the Fitbit app
  3. Tap on Account > Charge 3> Notifications
  4. When a pop-up with a "Bluetooth Pairing Required" message, tap on Set Up and continue.
  5. A new "Bluetooth Pairing Request" will appear, tap on Pair to continue
  6. Once in the Notifications menu, enable the ones you'd like to receive.
  7. Go to your phone Settings > Notifications > Fitbit and make sure the following is enabled:
    • Allow Notifications
    • Show on Lock Screen
    • Show in Notification Center
    • Show in Banners

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

I am having the same problem!  It won’t connect to charge, I can feel it vibrate on my wrist so I know it’s working (plus it still syncs) but nothing on the display but time active and clock time.

Hi there @PatriciaB1974, thanks for jumping in here! Thank you for sharing the details about the frozen display and confirming that you already tried to reset the device. Since you've performed the restart, I was wondering if you haven't tried to change your clock face? If not, I'd recommend doing this, this should help!

Open the Fitbit app and tap or click the Account icon > Your device image > Clock Face (Clock Display on Android). If you change the clock face, sync your tracker to see the change.

Let me know if this helps!

Tried to restart using usb port to unfreeze screen.  It would not restart.  It took at least 6 hours for the circle around the steps to close.  Then I was able to restart it and unfreeze the screen.  During this time it did sync.  ??????  I have had the charge 3 for less than 2 months.  Do not understand why this should happen

I followed MarreFitBit’s suggestion and it reset perfectly. Try if it does so again. A matter of seconds and no frustration.
