Charge 3 display has gone blank

Hi. My charge 3 display has gone blank. It says it is charged on the app but is not counting my steps. I’ve tried rebooting by holding the button down for 8 secs while plugged in but no joy. I also tried holding the button for 15 secs. I get 6 pulses. But then if I disconnect and reconnect to charger nothing happens. Can you help? Thanks
