U can not fix it. The key is whether your Fitbit is under warranty or not.
If it is call Customer Service and speak to a real person. After a few
questions a new Fitbit will be approved.

You can not fix it. If under warranty - call Customer Service and speak to
a real person. They will ask a few questions then authorize a new one.
Good luck!--

Too bad. Call CS anyway - you will get 20% or more off a new one if that is
what you want. Tuff decision--

Having the same problem. Seems so many people having the same issue. Don’t think just replacing the faulty device is good enough. There is obviously a design flaw. Off to choose a different more reliable brand .

This is my 2nd Charge 3 that has seen the vertical grey stripes now. The first one died a week or so after that appeared. I'm sure this one will die in a few days also. Never wore my Fitbit swimming and never got it wet. This Charge 3 is a piece of junk, so many problems. I won't get any support from customer service because it's been a little over a year since I've owned it. I just want to warn people NOT to buy one.
