Charge 3 display is grey

I have just charged my Charge 3 and the screen has gone from black to grey with vertical stripes .I have tried rebooting and plugging the charger in again but the screen is still the same.TIA for any help

This is really annoying. I contacted the customer services over a week ago
and all O have had is instructions on the "fix" that doesn't work. I have
told them twice I have tried it
I am disgusted by the lack of customer service.

I have done the steps you outlined for the long restart and I still have the grey "shadows" as lines from anything that shows on the screen.

Is there something else I can try?

As suggested above contact tech support. Do not expect a prompt reply as it took 10 days and 4 emails to get a replacement sorted. Given so many people are having this problem Fitbit should be sorting it out much faster.

loads of charge 3 trackers being replaced , crazy carry on, have they any R&D department at all ?

unacceptable really after an update, they need to get the finger out pronto and sort this

I went into a live chat just after I posted and was pleasantly surprised that I was given a replacement without too much trouble.

According to the email I received yesterday it should be delivered this Wednesday; we'll find out.

The rep who took my chat was very helpful and arranged the replacement promptly. Maybe they are realizing the severity of this problem.

GmanGinge,

You need to go to fitbit.com and log-in to your account. Once you are there look for the gear in the upper right corner of your dashboard and choose "Help" in the drop down menu.

 

This will take you to another page where you will need to scroll down until you see a box that is titled "Let's Talk" with the words "Get Support" under it. Clicking that balloon will take you to a page that gives you multiple options. The one I chose was "Live Chat" which opened a new window.

 

You might wait a few minutes for an available rep, but it will tell you where in line you are.

My fitbit charge 3 has grey streaks on the screen after charging it today.  I have tried a number of the options in this forum, including the long restart, but nothing is working.  I do not even get the vibrations when restarting.  Just nothing.  Can anyone help?

Contact customer service, online chat was very helpful. They will send a replacement quite quickly.

I have tried it four times I have called Fitbit. I waited for 12 mins. Than I was on tweeter. No help I love my Fitbit charge 3 help me please

That is so strange.. They were very good answering my call and I didn't have to wait at all.. I am sorry you are dealing with this.. I hope  you can get some help with your fitbit...

Hi Jogger,
Had similar grey screen issue and called Customer Service a few days ago. A
new Charge 3 should arrive on Tuesday. Hang in there!
