My Charge 3 display is so dim that I can’t read anything unless I’m in a dark room. I can’t see anything on the display while outside in the sunlight. I’ve tried the normal setting and the auto setting. And today my display is going completely blank. I reset it and changed the clock face. The display came back temporarily for 10 minutes then went blank again.

You need to go find the Brightness settings; they're really hard to see when they're set to Dim, which makes it hard to fix.

I was able to fix it by scrolling to settings and changing the brightness from dim to normal. It was not easy to see it. Would probably work best if you try to do it in a dark room.

Yep feeling very frustrated with my charge 3: can’t read the screen at all on normal or auto when I am outside exercising which is the whole point of having a Fitbit!... I’ve notice threads on this starting way back in 2019 (one was 80 pages long!) that have been closed with no solution given. Very disappointing...

I’m having the same issues. I figured it had to do with the firmware update and the iOS update but now reading all this it’s a charge 3 issue.

I will never buy a Fitbit again. I have the same issue. My friend bought 3 off the net nice square ones 89 dollars each never an issue over a year old. An for that money it’s a bargain. Guess where I’m getting my next one from.

Mine is doing the same thing, but I expect I'm out of luck getting anything done about it, since it's 2 years old. Won't waste my money on another one if they don't even last two years for $150.

Yeah, that works for a few minutes, then right back to dim.
