Charge 3 display is very dim

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Charge 3 display is so dim that I can’t read anything unless I’m in a dark room. I can’t see anything on the display while outside in the sunlight. I’ve tried the normal setting and the auto setting. And today my display is going completely blank. I reset it and changed the clock face. The display came back temporarily for 10 minutes then went blank again.

I say good luck with that - rather save your energy for something more productive like purchasing an alternative brand

Since I tried this, now my numbers for anything - even the clock - won't come up when I tap. Now I have to push the side button EVERY SINGLE TIME I want to look at anything, whether it's what time it is, or my heart rate or steps. I am SO OVER THIS PIECE OF JUNK.

Unfortunate that Fitbit lends a deaf ear to this product which appears to be defective in design

Press the left button until screen on.
Move the screen from right to left 4 times
Until you see setting, tab it
Tab the “bright “ icon
And see.

I adjusted the settings on the watch itself and set the brightness on auto. Somehow on it’s on it got reset to low.

  • I agree with you.  Fitbit needs to be held accountable.  Fitbit doesn’t care and we are stuck with these defective devices.

I had to charge my Fitbit this morning, and when I put it back on, it's dead. It shows the charge level on my phone, and it will show the clock face and other stuff when it's plugged in, but the second I take it off the charger and put it back on my wrist, I can't get anything to come up, not even the clock face.

Is it possible to get a new battery for these watches. I'm not interested in spending another $150 on a watch again.

Thank you!  I wonder if there was a firmware update that reset brightness to dim.

I am encountering this same issue.  I have fully charged my FitBit, done the reset, changed the clock face, nothing works.
