It's better if you contacted Fitbit Support Team. They will advise on the
way forward.

I'm having the same exact issue and I've followed the suggestions. I've held the button down and plugged it back in, I've changed the clock faces and I even let it die and recharged, but still nothing is showing up on the screen. If anyone has any other suggestions I'd appreciate it. I'd really hate to scrap something that expensive and only have gotten less than 2 years use out of it.

My display stopped working too. I’ve tried the reset with the power connected and changing the clock face and neither work.
I’m really disappointed that I spent so much money on this product and it is completely useless now.
It seems like this a widespread issue. Looking forward to hearing about a viable solution or seeing what FitBit can do to make this right.

I have given up trying to get my Charge 3 to receive notifications as it stopped ages ago (reported via this forum, but was not able to fix the issue in spite of repeated attempts). The screen is also so dark I can barely see anything at the best of times, now I have the black screen issue others are mentioning. It is still tracking on my phone but no longer (as of this morning ) syncing to other apps I had it linked to. This is really irritating, especially considering the price! I originally bought it for 2 things - notifications & Fitbit pay - neither work (Fitbit pay because int he UK it is only available in 1 or 2 minor banks with no updates available on when it might be available for the general UK banks). Thinking of switching to Apple watch this time!

With all that you have done, your only recourse is to talk to Fitbit CS
Team and see if they can give you a little discount towards buying another
one.
I am assuming your warranty is out.

My display stopped working last week. the fit bit still sinks with my phone just doesn't show anything on the screen. Tried the hard reboot and still not working.
NOTE: A few days before the screen went blank the display was flickering .......

Let the tracker to stay without recharge for 6 days. It will surely go off.
Then charge it again. If the screen remains off, go for Charge 4, or Versa
2 or "Epo" watch 🙂

I have tried everything the community has suggested. Still no display, but it sinks with my phone so at least I am getting data.
Time to call the fitbit help line.
