A watch is not much use if it cannot be read with relative ease in in daylight. Charge 3 is not working and in my experience, customers are not finding a solution. My Charge 3 is less than 1 year old , the strap has broken 3 times and the actual watch had to be replaced within months of purchase. Gimmesbreak!!!! Tommowalk, Dublin, Ireland.

Hello @Tommowalk. Welcome to the community forums. @Gr4ndp4 It's nice to see you around and thanks for your input.
I'm very sorry for the inconvenience and thank you very much for the information and feedback provided, as well for the troubleshooting steps you've followed prior to posting. Please note that our team is always working to enhance your experience and your feedback is a big part of that process.
If you haven't done so, make sure that the brightness on your Charge 3 is set correctly, this setting can be found in the Settings App on your Charge 3. If you have questions about how to navigate your Charge 3, please check:
How do I navigate my Fitbit device?
Also, make sure that Sleep Mode or Do not Disturb aren't enabled. If Sleep Mode or Do not Disturb are enabled, then the screen of your Charge 3 will be set to Dim. Lastly, you may change the clock face on your Charge 3 to a different one to see if that works. For more details, check:
How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
On a side note, I recommend visiting the following thread for tips and suggestions about broken bands.
Hope this helps.

Will someone in Fitbit please explain why I unable to adjust the settings on my Charge 3 so that I can see the time display in normal sunlight or do I have to carry an umbrella with me for shade?
What is the point in having one of these devices if it can’t be read n normal daylight. This is ridiculous !!!!

@Tommowalk Thanks for your reply.
I understand how you are feeling and I appreciate the feedback provided. At this time, the Charge 3 doesn't have any other option besides the Brightness option in he Settings App on the tracker itself. If you aren't allowed to change the setting there, please restart your device.
You don't need an umbrella but if after adjusting the brightness setting and following the recommended steps, the inconvenience still persists, the best way to get further assistance is to contact our Support Team. Note that you can contact them through chat or over the phone and you can click here to get connected.
I also recommend explaining the inconvenience and mention the tips you've followed, this way our team can help you from there and you don't have to repeat the troubleshooting steps.
See you around.
