Hi my new charge 3 is blank and when I charge it and try to restart it using the side button it just vibrates with a blank screen.

I had the same trouble with mine. I changed the clock face and it has been working great now for 3months. Try it, I hope it works for you too

Same problem, device appeared to be working, vibrating and all, but no display.  Holding button for 8 seconds (until second vibration) while device was in charger cleared things up.

I am having the same issue. Mine was fine and then all of a sudden the screen is blank. It is still syncing with the app, the green light is flashing, it vibrates when I get text messages or need to move. Resetting it doesn't help. Holding down the button doesn't help. Suggestions?

Thank you!! This worked for me! Plugged Fitbit into charger and held the side button for 10 seconds. A smiley fave came on then started working again 🤷🏻‍:female_sign:

Mine did the same so I tried syncing which worked but didn't fix it. Next I tried changing the clock face (recommended fix when my versa did the same), this did the trick on mine. I will however never be buying a fitbit again as this is the second watch that has done it and they are not cheap. #fitbithasissues

Hi guys, I hope you are doing fine.

I appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this display issue by yourselves. @SunsetRunner, thanks for the input.

@jcrieff@Barbarahut1@AngieMc18 and @Kelly200 I am glad to hear that your issue has been resolved and that your trackers turn on or that you will be receiving a replacement. If there is anything else we can help you with, do not hesitate to post it.

@Neematessa77@RogerMexico and @Dkemp, have you tried to change your clock face? If you haven't, I recommend trying this by following the instructions provide in the help article How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?.

Keep me posted. Man Happy

I got my Fitbit charge 3 less than a month ago and for no reason the screen is gone blank. It’s vibrating when I try reset and it’s fully charged.

How can I fix it? 😭

I was having the same problem with the blank screen and just vibrating. Held the button down for 10 seconds while on the charger, got the smiley face and now back to normal.

Well I tried that a few times. I let the battery die charged it and to my surprise it lit up. It is now working.

Support just fixed mine. After attempting the reset to no avail, they had me go into the app, change the clock face and sync the device. The screen came back immediately.
