My display will not turn on. I see the message saying to change the clock face, but how do I do that when the display won't turn on to begin with?

I put mine on the charger for a while even though it was at 80% plus and while charging I held down the button on the side for 10 seconds appx. and a line went through the screen like the first update then it started working. I thought it was broken for good but it worked for me.
Good luck 👍

(new solution) For 2 days my Fitbit 3 display was not turning on. Steps and sleeping hours were still being tracked. Holding the button for 8 seconds while charging didn't work.
This might sound weird but I managed to turn on the display by going in the app and choosing a different face from the 'Clock Faces'. As soon as the new face was applied, the display switched on and is now working fine!

I fixed this problem by going into the app and changing the clock face. My Charge 3 screen was not working but it was charged and would vibrate when pressing the side or connecting it to a charger. I figured I would check the setting within the app and tried changing the clock face and the screen lit back up as the new clock face downloaded and now works fine. (Changed the clock face back right after so it wasnt a problem with the clock face)

This one worked for me!! I pressed the button on the side for about 8 counts while it was on the charger. Seems to be fine now!!!

Welcome on board @Rideguy, @AnneMarieScic, @G_Nigh, and @SuzyMatwetwe! I'm so glad to hear that either the restart or clock face suggestion worked for you guys.
Hi @Stammy06 and @Persisd! If your tracker is still syncing or vibrating you can change the clock face even when the screen blank as this process needs to be done in the Fitbit app. See: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
If this does not work, ping me out!

Hi, I bought my Charge 3 this past December. It has been generally working fine since. Today, the display just turned off. It's fully charged and it vibrates when I press the button. However, there is nothing appearing on the display. This is very frustrating. Please advise.

Try changing your face clock. It worked for me

I tried this and it worked perfectly.
If your tracker is unresponsive:
1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on a computer or a UL-certified USB wall charger.
2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
3. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smiley face and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
Restarting your tracker reboots the device but doesn't delete any data.

I am having a very similar issue. My Fitbit wouldn't connect to my phone, then I received an email stating that my Fitbit was almost dead even though I left it on the charger overnight the night before. Now I hook it up to my charger and it doesn't light up and when I press the side button it just vibrates constantly, or doesn't do anything at all.
