Try this

it is called the*Screen Wake*option here are the instructions.

This save battery when it is turned off like mine was, I do not

know how I turned it off, but it is on and working now.

On your tracker, press and hold the button until the Quick Settings menu
appears.
Find the Screen Wake option and tap it to turn it off or on.
Sync your tracker to save the changes.

I cannot get anything to work on my Fitbit Charge 3. I noticed an hour ago that it just went blank. The button does not respond or vibrate at all. It is not syncing and the screen is dead. I have tried resetting it several times but nothing happens. It does not vibrate or start the screen. The only thing my fitbit does is constantly flash the green light on the back.

Thank you for your response, can you wake the screen from the app or the browser? It vibrates when I hold the button, but can't see anything. Thank you

I know this makes no sense but I reinstalled the app on the phone and re paired the fitbit.

Then changed the clock.

This has worked twice so far for me.

Hello,

I did the long restart, got to the smiley face, and then it disappeared and the screen is black and dead again. Suggestions?

No recommendations. Mine has not restarted but it is still tracking. Find it funny to look at and it is just a cloudy screen. I will probably be buying a new one.

Hi,

hopefully this will get through.

I’m having the same issue. I’ve tried all the solutions listed above, repeatedly and nothing really works.

Ive tried the 8 second and 15 second resets and changed the clock face a few times.

This has worked albeit for less than a minute then the screen goes blank again.

It still tracks like it should according to the app and will vibrate for notifications but won’t show anything on the screen.

Thank you for any help

Hi. I was having same issues. I tried all troubleshooting steps—8 sec, 15 sec, changing clock face, etc. Nothing worked.

I did the “live chat” last night, and Fitbit is sending me a new Charge 3. It was under warranty because of faulty board or something.  Worth the chat.

I’d call The company and tell them what’s going on with it. Hopefully they
can help.

I am having same issue. My screen turned black 2 days ago I’ve tried restarting multiple times and leaving on the charger for a couple hours. Nothing is happening. It stays black and never vibrates when on charger.

Hello, We've tried the 8 second reset and now the 15 second reset and neither has done anything. It buzzes when we push the button and will even count sometimes and/or show a smiley face, but it never resets. Is there anything else we can do? It was working fine yesterday all day and it just seems to have died since we went to charge it overnight.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I called Fitbit. We tried the 15 seconds, turning the bluetooth on and off, and even restarting my cell phone. Nothing worked. Since itsi only 3 months old, they are sending me a replacement. They guarantee the product for one year.

I’ve tried all of the “solutions” that have been suggested, and none of them are working. This charge 3 is ridiculous! I’m just going to get an Apple Watch!
