Charge 3 display won't turn on

Hi my new charge 3 is blank and when I charge it and try to restart it using the side button it just vibrates with a blank screen.

i had problems with my first Charge 3. Amazon sent me new replacement. then had display issue again, tried the suggested placing Charge 3 and charge then holding reset button for 15-30 seconds. That worked. Try this 👍

I ended up exchanging my charge 3 for a new one at the store as there was
no fixes that worked. There were 4 other people in line at the store doing
the same thing.

Mine was at 90% and then all of a sudden it turned off. I tried putting it on the charger and it didn't do anything. What it actually did was make it vibrate every 4 seconds. Every couple of minutes it would show a smiley face.  I'm really sad that this isn't working because I love this Fitbit. I hope I can fix this somehow.

Mine is also bricked - won't turn on or anything.. How long did it take you to get a response - did you call them? It seems to be they are not prepared to deal with this type of issue that is effecting so many people. Where is the official statement from Fitbit taking responsibility for destroying our Charge 3 devices with their software 'updates'?

My Charge 3 went blank, too.  I tried the plug in restart and it is still blank.  I can not get any display.  It will not connect to any device either.  When I tried to resync my phone could not even find the device via bluetooth.  Any one else find another solution?

How long did it take them to decide they were going to send you a replacement? What was the procedure you went through to get them to decide to replace your Charge 3?     So glad they are going to do the right thing for you.

Try changing the clock face from your fitbit app.

The fitbit app won't connect to the fitbit charge 3 so I can't change the clock face. Thanks for the suggestion anyway. Any other ideas? I appreciate all help.

That worked for about 3 seconds & went black again .

Sooooo frustrated .... about to trash it ,,,,,😡😡

The thing worked fine Sunday. Then today, it decided to not perform as designed. I’ve tried everything that has been recommended to get the thing to reset. Get the smiley face and then nothing. Nada. If this is an issue caused by a firmware update, I’m debating even getting a new one.  Only bought it in March, and the thing has worked well. But if they want to brick the item with an update, why should I want to get a new one? It’s a headache I don’t really need to have.

I have been helped ! Helen in CS was awesome ! My Fitbit was beyond help... unfortunately. But, the great news.. it was under warranty and I'm getting a replacement !

Same thing happened to me recently device has power, (battery in the green when looking at the app), is syncing with my phone, is vibrating / green lights on the back etc - but the screen just refuses to display anything.

 

The only thing that worked for me, (device reset didn't), was to open the FitBit app on my phone, select the device, select clock faces, pick any different clock face, and set it to change. This 'forced' the screen to come back on.

 

Fortunately it was still able to sync to my phone.

my Fitbit charge 3 won't turn on. I put it to charge and it never came back on and there is a line on the screen. 

I tried putting it on the charger and holding for 15 seconds and nothing appeared just the line.
