Charge 3 display won't turn on

Hi my new charge 3 is blank and when I charge it and try to restart it using the side button it just vibrates with a blank screen.

Mine does this intermittently. I can't find a pattern to what causes this or what fixes it. So frustrating. I hate Fitbit so much. I guess it's my fault because I keep buying new ones knowing they are garbage. My employer has a really good health incentive program so I need a tracker and have been too lazy to investigate other options. Fail.

I had a similar issue. When plugging in my Charge 3 to charge, it would vibrate for a connection but wouldn't display charge level. Later, I discovered that I couldn't select a workout mode. The Fitbit would vibrate when the button was pushed but I couldn't swipe to go to an exercise. Strange thing is that it continued to track activity and sync with the phone. The battery level reported "Full."

Tried your reset method and I'm back up and running. Thanks!  💦

Mine started doing this only this morning (it's over 12 months old). I have just completed a chat session with support, we went through all the resets again and when it still didn't work she offered to replace it. Order has now been placed. Give support chat a try.

Hello these reset steps are not working for me it's just repeating vibrates with nothing on screen and then stops after about 30secs. Is there a reset button?

My Charge 3 was at 25 percent, I plugged it over night to the same charger as always and by morning... nothing. For days i have attempted numerous different USB wall ports, the resetting options involving the hold down for 15 seconds and nothing. Not a vibrate, no blinking lights, nothing.

I’m having the same problem with my hr3. It connects well with my phone but no display on my device. I tried resetting like you said for 15 seconds and all it does is vibrate. Disconnected it and connected it back up and nothing. Help. Please

That changing-the-clock-face "hack" worked like a charm -- PERFECT for when you're out and about without your charging cable and run into this issue.
(when it works; presumably there are some devices more hung up than others)

Hi, I tried this but did not work. My Fitbit 3 is fully charged. I tried the reset. I changed the clock face in the app. I removed from bluetooth and restarted my phone. The fitbit was back on bluetooth. Do I just wait and hope the display magically reappears.  Have had this fitbit 3 for 15 months only.
