Hi my new charge 3 is blank and when I charge it and try to restart it using the side button it just vibrates with a blank screen.

I have full battery, screen display will not turn on. Back of screen green light on. Haven’t had my charge 3 for 1 month yet.

I just used the advice from a few posts below. Put your Fitbit on the charger and hold the side button in few a few seconds. I couldn’t believe that it turned on!  I almost ordered a new one.

Very disappointed with the charge three. I graduated from the Fitbit zip to the Fitbit Alta and then to the charge three in August.  In October it did the same thing fully charged and went and screen went black. Tried leaving it off for a day with no change. Called  HSNN they happily exchanged for a new one. It's January now and a repeat of the black screen. My first two fit bits are still working . It's not like you spent 20 or $30 Anten just dismiss as a junk product. With all the technology available today , All the kinks should have been worked out before putting on the market. I think I'm going to look into Garmin and check out their trackers.

Put it in the charger, and change the clock face via the FitBit app. Yes, it's stupid, but it works.

Same problem. Black screen that syncs and vibrates but won’t turn on to show the display.

I connected my charge to the computer and then used the fit bit app to change the clock face-fixed the problem!

Good luck

My fitbit did the same thing today. Try changing your clock design. I tried and it worked first try. Changed it back to my original design to see if it was just that clock face but it worked after switching it back. Hope this helped.

I had the blank screen yesterday, fully charged it and that didn't help.

I did like many others and put it on the charger and hekd side button for 10 seconds. Smiley came up.

Wonder when this bug will be fixed.

HOW I SOLVED IT

I had the exact same symptoms - worked fine but suddenly wouldn't turn on the display.  Plently of charge remaining, would vibrate when the button was pressed, would vibrate when connected to charger, and would even vibrate at the '10 minute warning' if I hadn't done enough steps that hour.  I also noticed it wouldn't sync.   Very frustrating.

I tried a reset while connected to the charger with no luck, then I remembered the Sync issue so I TURNED OFF BLUETOOTH ON MY PHONE then did the reset while connected to the charger and everything came back to life.

I wonder if theres some sync/bluetooth crash or loop it gets stuck in preventing the display from activating?  Who knows.  I hope my method works for orhers.

I had the same issue but I could see via my phone app that it was fully charged and was recording my steps.  I changed my clock face and my display was there again. Maybe this will work for others who have the same problem.

I’ve had my charge 3 for about a month. I was at dinner and it just stopped lighting up. It continues to vibrate when texts and calls come in but I cannot see anything. I tried restarting multiple times. I set it to charge for half an hour after it was pretty well charged originally then tried again. There is no change. How can I get this to work again?
