Charge 3 display won't turn on

I’ve had my Fitbit Charge 3 for two weeks, as I was walking out of work I noticed the screen was black after wanting to check what time it was, I thought the battery was dead so I connected through the USB cable and nothing happened except the flashing green light on the back, I tried the troubleshooting method where I gel the side button for 8 seconds and the screen remained black. I’m extremely frustrated because it’s basically new!! And I don’t understand what went wrong. If anyone one could help me with what to do next?

My Fitbit does not show a battery when charging unit is attached. I held the side button for 8 seconds and I received a flat line twice...then held again and saw a smiley face but my watch continues to be blank. Help!!

Try going into the app and select a different clock face. I know it sounds crazy, makes no sense, but it’s worked for me, twice.

Hello everyone, So I have had the same problem mentioned.

Problem: The watch would still vibrate, and it would still record my steps and data, but the screen wouldn't turn on. Even after charging it completely and resetting it, there was no difference.

Solution: I went into the Fitbit app and changed the clock face, the Fitbit synced and now the display works again. Hope this helped. Smiley Very Happy

Try going into app and select new watch face. I experienced somewhat different problem, no display at all. Anyway, worth a try. It’s worked for me, twice.

No. Because I tried restarting it, but the screen won't come on at all is the problem. It stays black.

After following all the steps my fitbit still doesn't light up. I pressed the button for 8 seconds, the smiley face comes but it still won't light up. I tried changing clock face in the App but it doesn't sync with fitbit. Screen stays black. Please help. Thank you!!

I just changed the clock face on the app and the screen came back. I then changed it back to the one I wanted and it's still working.

I changed the clock face on the app but after that it is unable to sync with my Fitbit. App cannot find my Fitbit. It vibrates, I see smiley face and everything but won't light up and can't sync with my app.
