I use Google fit and Garmin, running since 2 years in Doha, Qatar.
Recently bought Fitbit Charge 3
-Al Bidda park, 1.5km run track.
Garmin and google fit show 1.5km or 1.55km max.
Fitbit charge 3 will show me 0.6km, way off.
-Al Bidda park, 2.5km run track.
Garmin and google fit show me 2.50km or 2.48/km
Fitbit will show me 1.8km..
Its way off
I have tried all settings. Rebooted the device with charger on. Still the same results. Actually disappointed in this product.

Welcome to the Community, @AllwynPinto.
I understand how are you feeling and appreciate all the information provided. Fitbit devices calculate distance based on the device’s accelerometer data and stride length setting.
Default stride length is based on your height and gender. If available, Fitbit devices use GPS data to calculate more precise distances. When you sync your device, our algorithm interprets the data from the device, and you see your distance traveled in the Fitbit app.
Note that when you track an exercise with GPS, both GPS and accelerometer data are used to calculate the distance shown in the Fitbit app. For more information about accuracy, check the article: How accurate are Fitbit devices?.
Let me know if you need anything else. 🙂

Hi
Thanks for replying back.
I tried it again 2 times, well the distance is inaccurate.
On google fit it showed 8.46km and fitbit showed me 6.85km.
On the map of fitbit shows me accurately where i strarted and where i ended.. however the distance is off the charts..😕
May i know if i disable the automatic stride length on fit bit app will it give me as per the correct distance as i run on gps?
The product overall is really good,
Its just that if the GPS thingy gets solved and cit will be the best!
