My Charge 3 seems to be logging a greater distance than what i actually walked. I walked with two friends today each with an Apple Watch and TomTom. They’re devices clocked 5.3 miles while my Charge 3 logged 6.8. Has anyone else had this issue?

Welcome to the Community, @Omrohrer.
Fitbit devices calculate distance based on the device’s accelerometer data and stride length setting.
Default stride length is based on your height and gender. If available, Fitbit devices use GPS data to calculate more precise distances. When you sync your device, our algorithm interprets the data from the device, and you see your distance traveled in the Fitbit app.
Note that when you track an exercise with GPS, both GPS and accelerometer data are used to calculate the distance shown in the Fitbit app. For more information about accuracy, check the article: How accurate are Fitbit devices?.
Let me know the outcome.

Have no idea why they say the Charge 3 uses GPS when in fact, it also uses something else. Mine also tells me I walked MORE than I actually have. Using the ‘GPS’ is just about useless.

Hey @fritzmom, it's great to see you around.
I understand how are you feeling and appreciate the feedback provided. Have you tried to adjust your stride length information? If you haven't, you can try this out. Also, for tips about improving accuracy, I recommend checking the help article: How accurate are Fitbit devices?.
