Charge 3 doesn’t track sleep stages

I’ve been using this unreliable charge 3 for 3 weeks now, and it basically never tracks my sleep stages. There’s tons of people complaining about the same issue, and moderators give the same generic answers (which I tried all with no luck).

This is clearly a software or hardware problem, and should be fixed with a firmware update ora recall.

When are we going to hear any serious answer from the company?

What a ridiculous explanation! There is obviously a problem with the charge 3. I never had issues with the charge 2 And like others upgraded at Christmas. Now my tracking is wooing. Missing steps. No sleep tracked. Sort it out fitbit. Get an update that works!

Looks like I'm finally getting consistent sleep stages now. I think the problem is how I sleep (stomach), so I started flipping the sensors from the outside of my wrist to the inside every night before going to bed.

I also ordered an Oura Ring. My main focus is sleep, and Oura seems to be very good at that (with peer-reviewed papers comparing it to gold standard sleep tracking).  When it arrives, I will post a comparison between the two devices.

MEDICAL PROBLEM!

FITBIT IS PREVENTING PEOPLE FROM DATA BEING TAKEN SERIOUSLY BY THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY

I need to present the information  to my team of doctors to prevent myself from dying/psychosis from sleep deprivation!

This is an issue the country they outsource to replies EVERY TIME "they will solve the problem, no worries." I call almost every day! They tell me to wear it to bed. I WEAR IT 24/7. IT'S THE ONLY REASON I BOUGHT IT!!!!! And does track sleep under 3 hours, but not CONSISTENTLY.

This is serious and isn't serious to whatever country listens to me plead  for help without reply. Trained robots are NO answer. FITBIT IS DANGEROUS.

My charge 3 stopped sleep tracking on 14th May together with my heart rate. Steps are fine although keep losing pic on phone.I tried to reload sleep and last night a got a thin blue line not a detailed as usual.Have cleaned heads etc ,my device is not that old - I tried to upgrade the app,it said there had been an update in May 2020 I was wondering if this is what has gone wrong with mine ??

My Charge 3 fitbit tracks my sleep, but not every day.  Why is that? It comes up on my tracker as "Not Tracked" And yes, I wear my charge 3 to bed.
