About 10 days ago, my charge 3 started vibrating and flashing, basically going bonkers. It was unresponsive to any push of the button so I let the battery completely drain. I followed the steps in the forum to restart the Fitbit. It did the vibrating and flashing a second time a day or so later. That has stopped now but the battery won’t last for more than a day and it will no longer track my steps. And there is a thin black line through the pixels that drives me nuts. Any help to fix would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @racmac. Welcome to the community forums.
I'm sorry for the experience and thank you for the detailed information and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried prior to posting. I'd like to let you know that for battery inconveniences, there is a link that provides tips on how to extend the battery life and those tips can be found here:
Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
Nevertheless; since the display also experiences an issue and it seems that you've completed the suggested steps from this thread, my best recommendation is that you please reach out to our Support Team for further assistance.
Note that you can contact them through the link provided in the thread or you can click here to get connected. Also, take into consideration that you can contact them through chat or over the phone, but Phone wait times are longer than normal, so I recommend initiating a chat.
On a side note, please make sure to mention all the inconveniences including the one related with steps and the troubleshooting tips that you've tried, so our team can assist you from there.
See you around.
