Fitbit charge 3 is showing very faint 001 error and logo, barely visible. I have left it on charge overnight so should be fully charged. I have tried hard reset several times, as suggested on other threads, however it's not working. When I press and hold the button whilst connected to the charger, I get a short vibration followed a second later by another short vibration. The fitbit is not currently synced with a phone as ownership is being transferred from my daughter to me. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks.

Hi @ToddySharp. The haptic button on a Charge 3 can be cranky. The user who posted this YouTube video had to do it several times to do a restart. He mentioned feeling more than one vibration, like you, on the failed restarts. This thread, posted by a moderator, says to hold the button for 15 seconds for the 001 error code. If you feel other vibrations, try again.
Sadly, it might not be worth it to fix this error. If you browse this forum, you will see many, many posts about faint screens and blank screens on the Charge 3. It seems to experience screen failures. A lot. You might fix the error, but the screen will still be faint.

Thanks so much for responding @LZeeW - not one to give up on these things, I'll keep trying for a while longer before writing it off. It's a shame as it's in immaculate condition - it hurts to simply throw it away! Thanks again 🙂

@ToddySharp If you can't get it to work, please dispose of it as e-waste by you local rules.
