Charge 3 gets hot but won’t power on

Hi All,

I’ve had a Charge 3 since February last year and used it continuously until September. However due to illness I didn’t use for a while and only just recently picked it up to start using it again. Unfortunately my Charge 3 now won’t power on. I’ve tried charging it up, but it just heats up and becomes so hot it’s untouchable. I’ve tried the restarts suggested here on the community but it just remains lifeless and hot.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Karen

Hi there,

I’m having a similar issue. Have only had the Charge 3 since Feb this year and it’s randomly deteriorated since last month.

The screen is basically unreadable, the HR readings are temperamental, the battery is now draining and to top it off it won’t charge and goes burning hot when I try to.

This is the 4th Fitbit device I’ve had that has broken through no fault of my own....
