Charge 3 green lights on the back don't work anymore

Since a couple of days the green lights sensors on the back of the fitbit dont work.

I have restarted it many time following the instructions in other posts, eg:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable

I have also switched off the heart rate option in settings, restarted the device, turned it on, many times, but still the green lights dont come back. The other night, the fitbit also started vibrating continuously, and I had to take it off. I guess it stopped when the battery run out. The battery itself has a strange behaviour: it shows a value of charge when not connected to the cable charger, and as soon as I plug it, it shows a much higher value.

Thanks for the help

Hi, I am experiencing the same issue described in this post and was hoping you could help me.

The heart rate monitor and green blinking light on the back of my device have stopped working. I have tried all of the above mentioned restart methods, as well as turning off the heart monitor feature and turning back on but have had no success getting things to work again.

I tried contacting support but keep getting directed back to this message board. Any help or advice you can give is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
