Charge 3 grey lines on the screen

My charge 3 was low on battery so I put it on to charge. When I took it off, the screen had turned grey and had lines all down the screen. It’s also very glitchy since the lines have appeared. I’ve tried rebooting my charge 3 from the watch itself, as well as restarting it when it’s plugged in but nothing is getting rid of the lines. I’ve only had the watch about 18 months and never had any problems before. Any suggestions how to get rid of the lines? It makes it really hard to read the screen!
