Charge 3 has black horizontal lines

My screen has black horizobtal lines that have progressively got worse. I can barely read the time now. I have already tried resetting it on the watch and the charger with no luck. Please advise. Its barely a year old. Seems like I have bad luck with Fitbit. After 8 years, I might have to try a different brand if this can't be resolved.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Adekock07.

I am sorry to hear your Charge 3 screen has black horizontal lines. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I totally understand how you are feeling as you have been a Fitbit customer for a long time and I am here to help. Since you've tried to do a restart, I would like to confirm if you've done a long restart:

  • Connect the device to the charging cable.
  • While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  • The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration
  • The device turns off.
  • The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  • Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  • Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Yes, I did that restart already, as I mentioned in my origibal post. It
does not do anything. It goes black and nothing happens.
