Charge 3 has black lines after the update

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My charge 3 recently received an update, a few days later I e noticed multiple black lines appearing across the screen, it was fine before the update. I've rebooted, changed the clock face, rebooted whilst on charge, fully charged and let it die. Nothing is getting rid of this.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Jxshua.Greene.

I am sorry to hear your Charge 3 is showing black lines on screen after the latest update. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. I would like to confirm if you've tried doing a long restart:

  • Connect the device to the charging cable.
  • While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  • The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration
  • The device turns off.
  • The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  • Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  • Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

My Charge 3 has the same lines and has been getting worse over the past month. I have tried all suggestions to fix it that I have found on this board. Nothing has worked. It is still under warranty (Australia).

I'm also having the same issue. I've tried the 8 second reset & the hard reset. I've also changed the clock face and still have 2 black lines going across. Please help!
