So I was given a charge 3 for Christmas as a gift, and even though I was told it’s water proof I always took it off before taking a bath or doing dishes just to be extra precautious. About a month ago it started developing black lines throughout the display, until it blocked out so many chunks of display that the time is hard to tell. It stopped monitoring my heart rate, stopped monitoring my sleep, and stopped monitoring my 250 steps an hour. Then the icing on the cake, the strap suddenly snapped in half today lol. Anyway I tried all the things listed in the forms for resetting the clock face, trying different clock types, I tried the fast restart and the slow restart and no difference, nothing changed. As it was a gift I have no way of knowing whether it had a warranty or not, this past half year is the first time I’ve ever used a Fitbit, so please advise.
