I think there's an actual issue with my fitbit but thought I'd post in here to see if anyone else was experiencing a similar issue.
I bought my charge 3 just under two weeks ago. Last Friday, I noticed my screen looked faded and had white lines running through it. I have tried to reset it three times as generally suggested with no such luck.
I haven't damaged it in any way and I've continued to wear it in the shower as I wasn't concerned due to it being waterproof. The day the faded screen/lines appeared was when the battery was very low - but that's the only thing I can think of and surely a low battery should'nt lead to this?
Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated before I have to take it back. I've tried to add a picture to this thread but can't for some reason.
Many Thanks

I have exactly the same problem. I've rebooted it several times and I've even changed the screen clock in an attempt to get something, but nothing. I also notice that since these lines appeared all the sensitivity of the screen was affected. the screen does not turn on when you want to or is always on, watching the results down or starting drills to the left has become a difficult task because the screen rarely responds. can you help me please, I trust your brand immensely and I love my charge3, I do not want to be without it. I await an answer. thanks

I was very excited when my son gave me a Fitbit Charge 3 for Christmas, 2018. Within weeks I noticed lines across the top of it. Then, as time went on, more lines appeared. Now the complete face is covered with lines. I followed suggestions from Fitbit community comments but nothing worked. Actually, it got worst. I really like my Fitbit. It is a great motivator to get me moving but I am very disappointed with the lines across the face. For some things I have to check my iPad to see them because of the poor quality of the screen. I understand that some people actually got their Fitbits replaced. I would love to have mine replaced. It will soon be useless. Thank you.

I'm having the same issue, it just spontaneously happened at the same time as I got a "low battery"-warning. Ive tried both changing the clock face, rebooting and restarting. Nothing works!
I've had the the device since October. Is there anything else I can do? (It was a gift, so returning it would be rather cumbersome)

I'm having the same issue with the white lines on my Charge 3. None of these solutions work. It's not that old, was a Christmas gift. What do I do now? Ask for a replacement?
Thanks!

Hello! Mine just started to show lines all over the screen less than an hour ago. No damage has occurred and I’ve followed all reset guidelines. What can I do?

Love the Fitbit, don't like the vertical white bands/stripes. Let me know what to do after trying the solutions already mentioned in this thread.
Thanks,

Thank you for the quick response. Mine cleared itself up on it's own after a few hours. I'm hoping it stays that way. 🙂

Hi, I am having this issue as well. Trying those steps did not help. My fitbit was fine, i went to charge it (was at about 20%) and when I grabbed it, it was at 91% and had faded white lines throughout the screen. Resetting/Rebooting, clearing data, changing clock face, none of these have helped.

Mine has just done this when the battery ran down. I have rebooted disconnected etc but no change. Is this a common fault? Only I'm on my second since October last year, first one had dead pixels now this. I would understand if they were knocked or damaged but they are immaculate! I don't even wear it in the shower! Did anyone manage to fix this?

Yeah, I have never worn mine in the shower or let it get wet. Also I have never dropped or banged it against something.

I'm now having this same issue. I got my tracker as a Christmas gift/replacement for my flex 2 and have worn it daily with no issues since. I take good care of it, never letting it bump into anything and cleaning it regularly. I make sure to dry it within minutes of getting wet if I take it swimming and never wear it in the shower. The only thing I can think of is that I let it get down to 10% since I was away from home without a charger for a few days. After I recharged it, the lines were there and the screen was unresponsive. I've tried restarting it, changing the clock face and everything else listed here but nothing seems to work. If anyone can find anything that works, please let me know! I love my Fitbit and the community! Thank you!
