I think there's an actual issue with my fitbit but thought I'd post in here to see if anyone else was experiencing a similar issue.
I bought my charge 3 just under two weeks ago. Last Friday, I noticed my screen looked faded and had white lines running through it. I have tried to reset it three times as generally suggested with no such luck.
I haven't damaged it in any way and I've continued to wear it in the shower as I wasn't concerned due to it being waterproof. The day the faded screen/lines appeared was when the battery was very low - but that's the only thing I can think of and surely a low battery should'nt lead to this?
Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated before I have to take it back. I've tried to add a picture to this thread but can't for some reason.
Many Thanks

So my charge 3 started the white line after 1 year. I assume my warranty is expired. Since I am not going to spend 200 to buy another Fitbit, since they appear to be flawed technology, I was wondering what brand you people have tried and been happy with.

Lizzy -
I, too, have a single white line horizontally across the watch face on my FitBit watch.
Have tried 8 and 15 second resets with USB cable and changing watch faces but nothing helps.
MANY posts about similar issues (some with multiple lines and face going solid white) - line does not block watch readout but I'm worried about it getting worse!
Gift. Have had it for at least a couple years - never had this problem before.
A quick fix would be nice. Otherwise, email about how to contact customer service for a replacement.
THANKS!

I'm having the dreaded vertical lines also. I've tried the 8 second and the 15 second restarts but still the problem exists.
Fitbit was purchased 28.02.20. Any chance of a replacement please?
Thank you!

I have white bands across my Fitbit screen since yesterday. I have tried a long reset as well deleting user data. The screen is still corrupt and I can’t swipe easily from one app to the other. Can you help fix this issue please ? The fitbit charge 2 was more reliable. This version doesn’t sync well, the screen doesn’t work...the tech is overall disappointing.

Hi there, I am having the same issue. After the low battery symbol come up, I went ahead to charge my charge 3, but after it was charged, it whole screen has faded white lines on it. I did the reset and long reset and changed clock face. But its still the same. Is there other ways to solve this?

This is my second unit that has had the white lines. I woke up today and now my screen won’t scroll either. I tried the reset using the charger but it doesn’t make a difference. Help, I’ve been a Fitbit user for years.

Hi - Please contact Fitbit support team, Fitbit selling defective products and so many members complaining with the same issue. They are not interested to fix the issue. If your device is under warranty period they will replace else they will offer 25% for new device. I had same issue and got offer 25%. I lost faith with Fitbit and bought Garmin Vivo Active 3. Shame on Fitbit to sell defective products.

Their solution is to give me 25% off new purchase since this is out of warranty. The warranty on the original purchase not the replacement!
