I think there's an actual issue with my fitbit but thought I'd post in here to see if anyone else was experiencing a similar issue.
I bought my charge 3 just under two weeks ago. Last Friday, I noticed my screen looked faded and had white lines running through it. I have tried to reset it three times as generally suggested with no such luck.
I haven't damaged it in any way and I've continued to wear it in the shower as I wasn't concerned due to it being waterproof. The day the faded screen/lines appeared was when the battery was very low - but that's the only thing I can think of and surely a low battery should'nt lead to this?
Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated before I have to take it back. I've tried to add a picture to this thread but can't for some reason.
Many Thanks

Yes, mine was only 4 months old. If this replacement display does it again I’ll have to move to a different brand. Not sure if they made any changes to the display. It seems like there are a lot of folks with the same issue.

My first one was 4 months old the second is just under a year I'm not expecting a replacement. I'll be contacting trading standards Tuesday as they are clearly selling them with out sorting the fault they have never done a product recall and they clearly know its an existing issue

I took to twitter after contacting the customer service with no response. I can't afford to replace it. My whole family have fit bits but I won't spend any more on them. They said the first time it was a soft wear fault yet they still sell the same one

So I've had a Fitbit Alta that lasted 3-4 years and finally, the battery gave up. I then bought an Alta HR. I didn't's have any issues with either of those. I bought the Charge 3 in January of this year and in 4 months had the display issue. I would guess they have a bad bunch of displays and the are covering them based on how long you had the device. I had the option for a free Charge 3 or 50% off a different model. I opted for the replacement. I really like the 3 as it has long battery life and I don't need internal GPS like the 4 which kills the battery. I see others who have had theirs for a longer time are offered a 25% discount. I can only hope they've corrected the display. I also have their scale and I like their app so I don't really want to switch. I also have a Garmin Golf watch and a Bike GPS. Garmin products are rock solid in my experience. I've had 2 Car GPS. Now just use the iPhone. I'm totally Not a warranty guy. If I have trouble with a product I go to a different brand. If this display goes within a year I'm off to Garmin. Best of luck to everyone with this problem. I never got the reboot thing support suggested. It reminded me of Windows 95. Lol

Yes, I did contact customer service. They did replace my display. My comments were directed to all the folks that were just offered a 25% discount after their display went. There is clearly an issue with the Charge 3 display.
