Charge 3 has white lines across the display

I think there's an actual issue with my fitbit but thought I'd post in here to see if anyone else was experiencing a similar issue.

I bought my charge 3 just under two weeks ago. Last Friday, I noticed my screen looked faded and had white lines running through it. I have tried to reset it three times as generally suggested with no such luck.

I haven't damaged it in any way and I've continued to wear it in the shower as I wasn't concerned due to it being waterproof. The day the faded screen/lines appeared was when the battery was very low - but that's the only thing I can think of and surely a low battery should'nt lead to this?

Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated before I have to take it back. I've tried to add a picture to this thread but can't for some reason.

Many Thanks

That Fitbit is toast. Useless unless you like the new line decor! Customer service in my opinion is the only option. A replacement if within 12 month warranty. Otherwise a 25% offer of a new one with the option of that one going bad also. They are not interested in diagnose the problem. Good luck and stay healthy!

My second charge 3 replacement for my first was just over a year old. I emailed them I outed them on twitter threaten to go to trading standards gave them 5 days from the day I complained to sort it or was going to the media low and behold I was offered 50% off a new one or a replacement. I now love my Huawei band 4pro🤣

I have the same issue happening.  First I was missing pixels, then a few days later it started freezing up on me, and now I'm having this faded issue to my screen.  I've restarted it several times and rebooted it and nothing is fixing it.  Sad to say, with the Covid-19 issue, I'm not sure if the store I purchased this at will help me???  I'm SO frustrated right now because I really like this fitbit.

I did. I asked if he would be happy with a product that needed to be replaced within the year warranty and then had to be replaced less than a year later again....but was told we replaced it the first time. Yes we know there is an issue, but since it is past your original year we will give you 25% off to buy another problem. No one has been able to tell me that they have had one for longer than 2 years with no issues.Sent from my T-Mobile 4G LTE device

Tried this several times and the white lines are still there. Not sure what this is about, but I'm ready to toss this into the trash

Toss away since they won’t fix it or diagnose the problem Unless they are going to replace it shop for an alternative product! Be safe and healthy. Unfitbit yourself! Take care!

I also have this issue. I've had different issues with my Charge 3, in 1 year time I've had 3 replacements! I've had screens blacking out, mainly. This is the first device with the screen stripes. Tried a hard reset several times, didn't work.

You have a couple of options.

1 call them out complain and keep complaining on all social media platforms..

2 push for a replacement which you should do if you complain.

3 once you have the replacement run a mile and sell it on or put up with the  guaranteed issues.... Personally don't be fobbed off get your replacement and sell it on and don't look back

Hi, Im Ancella in Indonesia, im really sad, in Indonesia the warranty only 1 year and my fitbit only 4 months after my warranty, and it showing white lines also an gradually increase.

My black band is also broken..

I already tried soft restart and long restart, none of this works..

Im just like waiting for it to gradually broken until all the screen become black..

Why is the product like this, its not like im buying this cheaply..

Today, I woke up with a totally black screen. Off to buy anything but a fitbit. Don't waste your time or energy on dealing with them. Their replacements don't last a year either.Sent from my T-Mobile 4G LTE device
