I think there's an actual issue with my fitbit but thought I'd post in here to see if anyone else was experiencing a similar issue.
I bought my charge 3 just under two weeks ago. Last Friday, I noticed my screen looked faded and had white lines running through it. I have tried to reset it three times as generally suggested with no such luck.
I haven't damaged it in any way and I've continued to wear it in the shower as I wasn't concerned due to it being waterproof. The day the faded screen/lines appeared was when the battery was very low - but that's the only thing I can think of and surely a low battery should'nt lead to this?
Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated before I have to take it back. I've tried to add a picture to this thread but can't for some reason.

I received my replacement yesterday; all around it was a pretty quick and smooth process. Thanks @LizzyFitbit for your help!

I have had this issue for about three weeks.
Can I send it in to be fixed?

I just read threw this whole thread and have tried everything the support team has said to do with no luck.
The screen is unstable, the white lines make the screen and battery die so fast because of the screen being white not black.
Mine did this also the one time it had a low battery of 12%
before the white lines it was slow and not responsive to my finger and such.
Fitbit charge 3 changed my life so much for the better and I depend on it like crazy so for me this is a huge issue
my cable connection wasn’t even loose
I babied mine ! Because it was such a expensive purchase for my lifestyle I didn’t wear it in the shower. It would only get water on it that wasn’t soapy! And I cleaned it completely according to instructions regularly
i got mine dec. 2018 it is now July 2019 so when I saw the post about the recall I was in agreement
I was gushing about Fitbit and to everyone and now I feel I can’t wear my Fitbit with pride and recommend it.
Is there anyway a support them member could help me out and open a case for me because I want to love Fitbit again.
I want this issue resolved so I’m hoping by posting this comment someone somewhere will get me the support I need

The same issue has occurred with my Charge 3. Started yesterday from one minute to the next, not over time. I have had my Charge 3 since Jan and hadn’t had any other issues. It has never been wet. In fact, I tend to baby it a little. 😏
I have already tried the reset process and it didn’t resolve the issue.

Mine has lines now too. Started about 3 days ago. I dropped my Cgarge 3 on a hard surface. At first it was one line at the very top of the display. Now there are 6. It's like the pixels are dead. I've had my Charge 3 since February 2019.

My 6 month-old charge 3 fitbit has had similar issues to Dragoness19. The white lines, the fading screen but it has now packed it in. I have attempted the items discussed below, sadly, without success.
This seems to be a common charge 3 problem?

I just sent them an email with my long msg that I posted in this thread about I’m terrible with blogs forums and threads
I got an email saying a new case number and they with contact me so I pray they fix this
I’m sad to hear all this happened to SO MANY PEOPLE ALL AROUND THE SAME TIME???!!!!
i was gonna buy the versa or like the best scale and aria? And now I’m not sure I should save for those things

I restarted my Fitbit charge 10 times and this issue doesn’t go away I reset and clear everything still is cloudy and the white streaks still run down display

ive tried resetting multiple times and mine is not fixed either. I’ve had the Fitbit for around 7 months now and haven’t had a single issue. And this has come really randomly. Didn’t hit anything or swim or anything like that.
What can I do?
