Charge 3 has white lines across the display

I think there's an actual issue with my fitbit but thought I'd post in here to see if anyone else was experiencing a similar issue.

I bought my charge 3 just under two weeks ago. Last Friday, I noticed my screen looked faded and had white lines running through it. I have tried to reset it three times as generally suggested with no such luck.

I haven't damaged it in any way and I've continued to wear it in the shower as I wasn't concerned due to it being waterproof. The day the faded screen/lines appeared was when the battery was very low - but that's the only thing I can think of and surely a low battery should'nt lead to this?

Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated before I have to take it back. I've tried to add a picture to this thread but can't for some reason.

Many Thanks

Mine was just out of warranty by 2 weeks. They offered me 50% off  a different one or a brand new replacement. 3rd time lucky I guess. But I will say I have a Huawei band 4 Pro and its really good

I'd not say that but I'd already started complaining on twitter Facebook and threatened with the press and trading standards. I think it was just to shut me up

I would never be greedy, but it is hard to find any rhyme or reason, on the
level of compensation. I still am not happy, as I don't think I have been
treated as well as many, in the same situation. Will have to make a
decision very soon on accepting the meager 25% discount, or going another
direction.

I'm still paying for mine as in put it on 12 months free credit I just expect something to last more than a few months

That is my biggest disappointment, how long it lasted.

I think you should try pointing out that you are aware of at least 10 other cases on there replacement its happened to and hundreds of first timers and your responses have been unfair and unsatisfactory.

They tried telling me to do the reset that I'd already tried. I wasn't very polite either. They way you have been treated is not on especially in 30 minutes of finally dealing with me they had offered and dispatched a replacement

If that what it takes to get satisfaction and quality service I am okay with that. They need to stand behind the overall quality of their products!!!! Great job! Take care!

Hi,

I have this problem too. I have tried to reset the screen and followed all the instructions. It reboots the Fitbit but the white lines are still there.

is there something else I can try?

Thanks,

Niamh

Frankly, no. Little seems to work. If you have owned less than a year, Fitbit might/can help. If you have owned over a year, Garmin is a good way ahead.

Switch to a brand that backs their products or fixes their flaws. Nothing else I can add. Sorry.Sent from my T-Mobile 4G LTE device

No. Buy a different product. They won’t fix the lack of quality of this product!!!

My charge 3 did the same today. The battery was low and the white bars showed up. I charged it then I followed the instructions to reboot but the bars did not go away. Are there any other options to try to fix it?

Yes that is happening to me too. The screen does not respond well with the lines on it.
