Charge 3 has white lines across the display

I think there's an actual issue with my fitbit but thought I'd post in here to see if anyone else was experiencing a similar issue. 

 

I bought my charge 3 just under two weeks ago. Last Friday, I noticed my screen looked faded and had white lines running through it. I have tried to reset it three times as generally suggested with no such luck. 

 

I haven't damaged it in any way and I've continued to wear it in the shower as I wasn't concerned due to it being waterproof. The day the faded screen/lines appeared was when the battery was very low - but that's the only thing I can think of and surely a low battery should'nt lead to this? 

 

Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated before I have to take it back. I've tried to add a picture to this thread but can't for some reason.

My Charge 3 just started this today ...I have rebooted multiple times and the lines are still there . What can be done ??

I reached out to FitBit customer service after rebooting it several times and nothing worked. So they are replacing mine since it’s still under warranty.

Mine has started with this issue today and I purchased it at Christmas. Cleared the data and rebooted but the lines are still there.

I am having the same issue and have restarted. Can someone please let me know the next steps that I need to take ! I don’t want it to stay this way!! Thanks

Call the fitbit, they will replace it . I should get my replacement
tomorrow! Super easy to do as well.

I have had my fitbit3 since December and noticed a few weeks ago that these lines were appearing.  I checked on here to see if other people had had this problem and was surprised ar the number who had.  I went in to Curry’s today where I bought it and I am getting a replacement on Monday....result!

Take it back to where you bought it they will replace it.  I did this today no problem, I didn’t have my receipt but I showed them my bank account with the payment, I collect my replacement on Monday.  It’s obviously a fault which is worrying I asked what to do if it happened again, they replied bring it back.  I did wonder if it was anything to do with using it in the swimming baths I go 3 times a week but it is supposed to be waterproof.

I'm having the same issue. I've tried resetting with no luck.

Return it to where you bought it from they should replace it or give you your money back as it is faulty.  I have my new one now.  Good luck

I wondered the same thing about i being waterproof...i read on the replacement that it said to dry it really well after getting it wet.... makes me think it isnt .

Yes I read that too and thought the same, i was told if it happened again I could take it back again, if it does I think I will try and get my money back and try a different one.

Mine did the same thing today. I've had my charge for less than a month. My battery also went very low before it happened. Ive done nothing outside of the ordinary that would have damaged my fitbit.

Mine have this greyed out screen with white vertical lines. 

 

Fitbit replaced it with a new device but it is a worry to see so many people with the same fault.

You should be able to either get it replaced or your money back if you return it. I did find my battery life wasn’t lasting as long after it had happened and as I say I wondered if it was something to do with wearing it in baths even though it says you can

It certainly is, I was expecting to be interrogated at the shop when I returned mine but they just said we’ll replace it no problem......made me think I wasn’t the first definitely!
