Charge 3 heart beat accuracy

I have changed from a Charge 2 to a Charge 3 and realized after my first run that the peak heart rate is 20% higher in comparison to my Charge 2. On a 60 min treadmill run I spent 60% of time in peak - while I spent ZERO in peak with my Charge 2. Conditions were comparable.

 

During my live chat I was told it would be normal that there are differences in peak heart rate between 2 devices - which I understand BUT an average of 124 vs 144 beats per minute for comparable exercises?

 

Does anyone have similar issues?

Heart beats change from 75 to 113 in seconds. How can this be although I would be sitting down.
