In the past week, according to my Fitbit, my resting heart rate has dropped from it's usual 60 to 70 bpm, down through the 50's, and is now 45. Whilst I try to keep myself reasonably fit, I have a number of health issues and am far from being athletic. My exercise is limited to walks of around 2 to miles per day, though because of Lockdown restrictions and the weather last week, I could not even do that. I have also noticed my sleep score has dropped, and my Fitbit now records that I am getting very low amounts of deep and REM sleep. I have in the past had problems with my sleep and know how I feel when I do not have a good night, but despite what my fitbit says, I feel fine. Could this be an issue with the sensors on my Fitbit. It was purchased in June 2019 as a gift. I would be grateful for any help or advice.

Hi @Grg53, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Let me share with you that heart-rate tracking can be affected by several factors including air temperature and device location on your arm. For more information about this, please check our help articles:
However, if your heart-rate tracker seems inaccurate after taking the recommendations into account, please reply with answers to the following questions so I can further investigate:
In regards sleep tracking, can you please elaborate? When was the first time you experienced this situation and how many times since then? I recommend you to learn more about sleep tracking on our help article: How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device? and let me know if you have any additional questions.
I'll be waiting for your reply if further assistance is needed.
