Charge 3 heart rate information inaccurate

I have seen similar posts about this and have tried all the recommendations given. I got my Charge 3 about 2 weeks ago and went to the gym today for the first time with it on my wrist.

My heart rate was at 195 according to the machine I was on while my Charge 3 wouldn’t go past 85 (that’s my normal heart rate when I’m at work) when I tried to put it on the exercise mode, it would read completely blank.

As I am just past the return date for Best Buy where I bought it, I seem to be screwed now as it’s not working how it’s supposed to.

It's great to welcome you, @Jtg23.

Thanks for troubleshooting this heart rate issue. If this information isn't being accurate, I recommend taking a look at this post where you will be able to see some things that might be affecting this reading and some tips to improve it.

Let me know how it goes 😉

I have tried everything on the list. The heart rate monitor is still reading inaccurately and now it’s doing it even when I’m not exercising. It’s jumping by sometimes 30 bpm in both directions very fast.

The heart rate monitor still isn’t working right. It’s also not accurately counting steps when I’m walking but I’m waking up in the morning with 300+ steps counted.
