Charge 3 heart rate information inaccurate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a Charge 3 that within the past 2 days (at least that I’ve noticed) has started to record very high heart rates even when I’m at rest. (Example, 167 bpm when my heart rate is between 58-60 bpm while sitting for a very long time.) It’s also resulted in very high and inaccurate daily calorie burn totals and not recording my sleep properly.

I have tried:

Turning HR off, restarting the watch, turning HR back on.

Letting battery run down to zero before charging.
Resetting the watch completely

But none of these have worked for me. Is there anything else that can be done? I’ve enjoyed my Fitbit and don’t really want to explore other fitness tracker brands yet.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I have exactly the same issue as this and it only started yesterday after the app update.

Apparently I’ve done 8’hours of exercise today when sat at my desk.

I’ve noticed that the heart rate lights on the underneath seem to be working a bit unusual too.

Would you be able to look into my data and see what the issue is please?

thanks

Hey @SunsetRunner and @smileykirstie, welcome to the Forums.

I apologize for the slow reply. Can you please be more specific about the issues you are experiencing? Are your trackers turning on? Is this problem with your heart rate information?.

I hope to hear from you soon. 😉

Thanks for getting back, @SunsetRunner.

I apologize for the delay in response, due to recent events affecting our operations, support options are limited and wait times are longer than usual.

It's great to hear that you received a new unit. If there is anything else we can help you with, do not hesitate to post it.

Keep the stepping up! 🙂
