Charge 3 heart rate information inaccurate

I have a Charge 3, I use it all the time, the other night I decided to play a game on a virtual reality heat set (oculus quest) I set the watch to record the exercise (workout) the game wasn’t very strenuous just a shooting game standing up for 57 mins and burned 562 calories without breaking a sweat or getting out of breath heart rates in cardio zones and above etc, I was pleasantly surprised but skeptical, today I decided to experiment, I did 20 mins same game with the watch recording my heart rate and 20 mins without, I found that as soon as it was recorded it shows me as having high heart rate (cardio zone, fat burning) for 20 mins and then when I did the same game without the watch recording the exercise my heart rates are normal, why is that, anyone know?

It's great to see you around, @Mrheavywater.

If you are having problems with your heart rate information, I recommend taking a look at the help article: What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device? and follow the tips provided there. Then test your unit.

Let me know the outcome.
