Charge 3 heart rate information inaccurate

Hello all, I recently received a new Charge 3 to replace my previous one which was having issues with the screen and display. Other than that, my previous Charge 3 was tracking my sleep and my heart rate as it always had been with no issues. Since using the replacement though, I'm noticing problems.

My heart rate seems to be way too high; my heart rate can't seem to get below 100 bpm, even when I'm sitting at home. The reading is at least 125-135 bpm while I'm walking around the house and it's never been like this before. Usually when I'm sitting down, my heart rate is below 80 bpm. I thought maybe because my resting heart rate has gone up a bit may have an impact, but not this much; the jump from my usual range seems extreme and unpredictable. For example, when I woke up this morning I saw the reading was 157 bpm; that's insane and I felt no symptoms or issues that would suggest something was wrong with me. When I myself or others take my heart rate, I'm in my usual range, but the Charge 3 is still reading at least 25 bpm higher than my count. As I type this now, my heart rate is 149 bpm on the Fitbit, but my manual reading is 78 bpm. My sleep hasn't been tracked much and doesn't provide a score or any detailed analysis. Perhaps the higher heart rate reading is messing with my sleep analysis?

I've checked with my last Charge 3 and the difference between both devices and the heart rate readings is clear. I'm not sure how to upload a picture, I'd like to show a comparison between the previous Fitbit and my current one. I don't know if these problems are because I also have the newest update on the replacement, but I can't seem to figure out this problem.

If anyone has any suggestions, any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
