My charge 3 heart monitor is not working during the day time. It's ok over night.

Hello @Julys, welcome to the community forums!

This is very odd. If you're seeing two (--) dashes on your Fitbit Charge 3, please make sure to restart it by following the steps suggested here:

How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Also, make sure to follow these tips for your Charge 3 to be able to detect your Heart Rate:

  • Wear your Fitbit device on top of your wrist, and make sure the back of the device is in contact with your skin.
  • When you’re not exercising, wear your device a finger’s width above your wrist bone.
  • During exercise, wear your device a bit tighter and higher for an improved fit. The band should be snug but not constricting (a tight band restricts blood flow, potentially affecting the heart-rate signal). Many exercises such as bike riding or weight lifting cause you to bend your wrist frequently, which could interfere with the heart-rate signal if the watch is lower on your wrist.

On a side note, I've moved your post to another thread to keep our forums organized.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for the tips. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it
is now working again. A hiccup following the update maybe? Thanks again.

@Julys, thank you very much for resolving this inconvenience!

I currently can't assure if it was due to an inconvenience after the update, but thank you for taking the time to report this matter! I'm now glad to know that you're back on track!

Have a great day!
