Charge 3 heart rate reading too high and can't long restart

For about the last week I've noticed that my resting heart rate is skyrocketing, and my sleeping heart rate in particular has gone from being between about 48-60 to being anywhere from about 67 to 90+! Just today I noticed while sitting on the sofa that my heart rate was apparently 95. I manually checked and it was 53... multiple attempts at following all the steps suggested for an accurate reading,  turning off the heart rate, rebooting through the device, and short resetting through the charging cable later and no improvement, the only thing I can think left to do is a long 15sec reboot. Only trouble is I've tried about 20 times now and I haven't managed to do it, despite following the instructions carefully. Best I got was a short reboot about 5 or 6 times but even that was hit and miss... At a loss now!

This!!! This is happening to me too. My resting is usually in the 70s and yesterday it was randomly reading in the 170s? Checked with my pulse ox and it was totally normal. I tried rebooting, cleaning, turning off and on the heart rate, and nothing worked. I finally just took it off for the day and it’s working fine now? No suggestions but right there with you in your frustration.
