Although normal manual syncing works I cannot get All day sync working as it won’t pair.

What is the error you see and what phone are you asking about @Bainie
On my phone, I would tap on the error message and the phones asks me to accept the changes.

When I go to AllDay sync the message reads you need to pair with Bluetooth ( in Bluetooth it shows connected) so I press Pair after a minute or so a message says failed try again.

You say it fails but haven't mentioned the message as to why it fails.
Did you tap the message that asked to pair, on android that is what I would do.
