Charge 3 is constantly vibrating and screen going on and off

All of a sudden the Fitbit keeps vibrating then the screen keeps switching between click face and the notification screen. Had to take it off. The charge is at 42% so it’s not battery life.

So I tried disabling GPS as @makfit10 suggested and, while it didn't stop the vibrating and screen changing right away, it did stop after a couple of minutes so maybe there is something to that.

However, the heart rate functionality has completely stopped and no amount of rebooting and settings re-jiggering seems to get that back. The green LEDs seem to be completely dead.

I am having the same issue with mine and it's driving me crazy. I've scrolled through the thread and tried all of the suggestions but to no avail I'm afraid. Please can someone help? Thank you 🙂

The best thing I can suggest is to contact Fitbit customer service as it
sounds like you’ve got one of the faulty ones. They will help you.

Hi all,

I was facing the same issue and the restart didn’t work neither the face changing. Actually, currently, my Charge 3 is not turning the screen on, even though the battery is 68%.

Can anyone help me?

My Fitbit Charge 3 screen has either not been responding to my touches or the screen itself will have a mind of its own and just start flipping through the windows and/or vibrating all on its own. I would try to reset it but after the smiling face it would load the progress bar and just remain there frozen. This is horribly frustrating.

Get in touch with Fitbit customer services I think they had a bad batch.
They should help you out with maybe a new charge 3. They replaced mine unit
not the strap and its been working ever since. Let me know how you get on.

Hi Smartie_16, thanks for your message.

I did contact Fitbit customer service 1 week ago and after performing some tests, they mentioned to reach me out to change my Charge 3, but never did!

I told them I will be in France up to Aug,6th and asked to perform the change here, maybe it scared them.

So far I feel like I threw my dollars in the garbage!

Regards

Hi

mine has started doing this the last couple of days, did the reset and it fixed it for a couple of hours then back doing it again. This is the replacement 1 as the 1st one got the grey/white lines down the screen.

I have the exact same problem, seems like touch button is stuck in an infinite loop. No amount of resets in or outside of the charger nor changing the clock face will make it stop vibrating. I'm about to loose my mind over the constant sound, and no matter where I place it I can still hear it. Like an angry locust, that hates my guts. Anyway, I'm dependent on monitoring my heart rate for medical reasons, how do I get it replaced? It seems support staff is just randomly contacting people posting in this thread?

My Charge 3 is doing the same thing with the screen..  acts like button is stuck. Keeps vibrating and changing to different screens.  Just started this morning.  This is the 3rd Fitbit I have gotten.  The first one does after the warranty,  the second one (charge 2) also died after warranty.  At least this one is still under warranty.  O love them but hate that they break so quickly.

Oh gosh that doesn’t bode well for all of us that have a Fitbit. So far
I’ve had no issues with my replacement Charge 3 long may this continue.

Well, I’ve been a fitbit customer since the first charge hr. This is how they do business. **ahem** QA, good replacement policy.
