All of a sudden the Fitbit keeps vibrating then the screen keeps switching between click face and the notification screen. Had to take it off. The charge is at 42% so it’s not battery life.

You should contact Customer Service. They are very helpful. I had the same issue and they sent me a replacement.

This is the 2nd time I am doing this in less than 2 months but nothing is working now and I have followed all the steps

I've done exactly what you say, but it keep repeating and battery drain super fast 😞

My fit bit Charge 3 keeps vibrating and acting strange. It kept cycling through different menus and now just won't do anything.
I have followed the method where you hold down the button for 15 seconds but still no joy.

Hi have the same problem. Tried your test but nothing worked. Fitbit only 8 months old. Unfortunately lost receipt so cant change. What can I do. Thanks

I got in touch with customer services. They was great and sent out a new pebble. It came very quickly. Amazing service.

mine is doing the exact same thing, started with the high heart rate when i was sitting at my desk at work showing 150 plus and took it manually and was more than half of that so i googled that which was a known issue so i did the restart by plugging it in like they said, now that created the screen going bonkers non stop, did the hard reset many of times but this does not help at all. in fact when i plug it into the charger it automatically hard resets on its own after vibrating a bunch. so i did an online chat with Melissa from fitbit who was practically useless and i could tell she was not reading what i was telling her cause her response was the directions on how to do a hard reset. Ummmm hello i already told you i did all of that. she checked and i was just outside of my warranty as i bought it in november 2018 and it only covers it for 365 days. so she offered me 25% off of a new one. Like really this is a very well known bug with your product and im only days off of my warranty and this is my second product i have bought from you and your answer is to make me spend more money on a faulty product? not to mention i got a phone call at work and she disconnected the chat very fast on me.
not a happy camper i should of just turned the heart rate feature off cause the reboot screwed my entire fitbit up. now it keeps flipping screens and vibrating on my wrist which is super annoying. also no changing the clock didnt do squat

I’m having the same issue! I’ve tried restarting, the short and long version. I’ve tried changing the clock face. It seems like the button is stuck so it keeps vibrating and going to the “screen wake and notifications” screen. And the screen is way more on than it is off.

I cannot do the long restart.
at best I get to the progress bar. But it does not complete and I do not get the 7 short vibrations.
I do get the smiley face of the short reset.
Please help!

Hi,
Having the same issues and I haven’t heard back from Fitbit yet. I can’t even get it to restart as it’s either totally dead or won’t stop flashing between the smiley face, notifications and a flat line.
Any help appreciated!

I am having this problem with my charge HR 3.... I’ve followed the trouble shoot suggestion, but as the charging cable covers the only button on the left of the device, how can I depress the button whilst on charge?
My fitbit is bouncing between clock face and screen wake screen, continuously vibrating and it’s losing battery because of this. This device is less than a year old... what should I do?

Have the same issue, got as a gift in march last year and suddenly has been vibrating and screen going all over. Tried all the advices i have seen and nothing. The altimeter and speed hasnt been working as well for a while after it heated in my wrist, i restarted and lost those functions.

Hi, tried the switching on and off whilst connected to charger, not helped, screen still flicking between click face and notification/screen wake screen. Had the Fitbit approx a year, never had this problem before
