All of a sudden the Fitbit keeps vibrating then the screen keeps switching between click face and the notification screen. Had to take it off. The charge is at 42% so it’s not battery life.

It can't be fixed. If you call Fitbit customer service, their "fix" is to send you a new one. I am on my 6th replacement. The longest I have had one last is 3 months. Some die after as little as 4 weeks. It must cost them about 12 cents to make these pieces of junk, since they just keep sending replacement after replacement without ever trying to figure out why this keeps happening.

I turned off all notifications and it is not vibrating anymore. My screen has a line through it and date is cut off. Shouldn’t have to turn off my notifications to prevent battery from dying so quickly. Last Fitbit I will purchase. Going to look for another tracker to purchase when this finally dies completely.
From settings on my iPhone.

I'm having similar issue: it vibrated till battery was dead but now it doesn't start charging either 😒. Extra points to the one who gave this product name Charge 3 because that's the only this I keep trying to do - charging. 🤣 I had same issue some weeks ago also and at random moment it finally started to charge but this time I have tried half day already and still all I have is dead tracker.

Hello! I’m experiencing the same issue, but when I plugged in to the charger, the Fitbit vibrated for about 20 seconds then stopped. There is no activity on the screen and it won’t sync with the app. When I press and hold the touch-sensitive button, it vibrates. It now randomly vibrates. If you have any thoughts, please let me know! Thank you!

My Fitbit starting doing this last night. I tried the troubleshooting steps. I contacted customer support. After going through troubleshooting steps again, they said it is out of warranty and offered a 25% discount for a new one. I have had this one for 13 months. This is a known issue, obviously, but Fitbit doesn’t stand behind their products. I have been a Fitbit customer for years. I’m so disappointed right now.

Mine did this too. Have tried the suggestions in this thread but can’t get it to do anything.

I've tried this 4 times and it's not working. My screen looks like it has white or grays horizontal lines going through it. And it keeps doing mini vibrations.

What would the next step be if this did not work? Also, after putting it back on charge how quickly do you take it off or do you wait for it to charge completely?

The next step is replacing it. Mine won’t charge because the vibrating and flashing drain the battery faster than it can charge. I ordered another Fitbit Charge 3 and hope this one will last longer than 13 months. Meanwhile, I will shop for other brands of fitness trackers. I really like Fitbit and I like the features on the Charge 3, so I hope it doesn’t happen again.

I am experiencing the same, and have only had my fitbit since Christmas. I have tried the below advice, I am unable to restart through settings as it will not allow me to get to this (because of the constant switching on/off and flashing/vibrating). I have tried holding the button down for 15 seconds whilst on charge but this also hasn't worked. The screen display is broken up now and only flashes on briefly if on charge (once unplugged, screen is blank and button doesn't respond). Could someone put me in touch with how I can rectify this/get the fitbit replaced?
Thank you

I would contact Fitbit Customer Service they should be able to help you as it's still in warranty. Good Luck!

What doesn't work? If none of the suggestions in this thread work, contact customer service.
Sometimes my Charge 3 (which is a replacement issued for the vibrating issue) will freeze. To get it working again I have found that going into the app and changing the clock face will free it up again. I can then switch back to my preferred clock face.

I have followed the advice given here and nothing is working to fix this problem. It doesnt even give me the battery charging symbol it just keeps flipping through the screens and vibrating. I bought my charge 3 at the end of September so I'm still within the 1 year warranty time frame but I bought tgis one from Kohls and not the Fitbit website like my others and Kohl's only exchanges for 30 days...
