Charge 3 is dropping Bluetooth connection

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Purchased this Charge 3 a few weeks ago. Initially all was working well but now I find I have to reset the Charge 3 5 or 6 times a day because it drops bluetooth connection with my iPhone.

I have tried ALL the suggestions in the forum to get this working, but to no avail

This is obviously a widespread problem yet nothing has yet been done to rectify the situation.

Very, very disappointed with FitBit's response to this particular problem.

Same here!

As soon as my Fitbit App updated automatically, my Charge 3 constantly get disconnected and the app is “looking for the device” and won’t sync.

I constantly have to restart my phone to sync it, but this only lasts for an hour or so.

Considering moving away from Fitbit if this continues because it is very frustrating...

If Fitbit cared about its customers someone from Fitbit would be responsible for reading these messages & actioning the complaints.

The lack of a positive response shows that Fitbit has poor Customer Relations

I gave up.  My Fitbit Charge 3 died for some reason, so I bought an Apple Watch for about what it would cost to replace the Fitbit.  Works perfectly.  I'll never go back to Fitbit.

We know this procedure, because we’ve been doing it every day, several times per day, for several weeks now. I’ve even reinstalled the app several times.

I phoned up Fitbit & they advised closing all open pages on phone.

I double clicked on home button & swiped upwards.

Do this periodically & blue tooth now works well

Still happening despite several reboots per day to finally get the iphone and Charge 3 to synch.  I have to reboot the charge 3 several times once it loses the synch to the phone.  Frustrating that this has been going on for months and no matter what updates happen this never changes.  Now on my 8th restart of charge 3 and still getting no device found on iphone.

Charge 3 continues to lose Bluetooth connection nearly every time I access the app, multiple times per day, and has gotten worse since last update......I’ve been a Fitbit user foe over 10 years with different devices, but I am about done with this......customer support is no help....and please, don’t suggest suggest the go to settings>forget device>>>>> been there, done that,  every time it drops a connection, and doesn’t provide lasting result.  Ughhhhh...

Totally agree. Fitbit flex 2 never had this issue. Notifications seldom occur. Lose pairing several times a day.   Frustrating

I ended up buying a used charge 2 because it works correctly and fitbit kept telling me that it was an issue on my end. I got a hold of another charge 3 same issue as my original. Bought another phone because they told me my phone wasn't compatible still couldn't find it connect to a charge 3. The answer friends is to throw away the charge 3 they're duds.
