Charge 3 is flickering non-stop between screens

I have re-set my fitbit using the charger at least 15 times now and it has not helped at all.  I have also re-set it via the screen but this failed to do anything either.  My fitbit is a little over a year old so I am very unhappy that is has developed a fault.  Can this be sorted?

Sadly I gave up with mine.  It was less than 2 years old but is now in the bin and I purchased a Samsung Smart watch.  This was my 2nd fitbit and both failed me so I decided not to purchase a third one.

Hello @Tish30, thanks for getting back. We're sorry to hear you go. We'll be always around if you need anything else, would be a pleasure to assist you anytime.

Hi @Aquavelvett, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 3 is having this same odd behavior and that is causing the a battery drain, I'll do my best to get you back on track.

If you haven't done so yet, please restart your Charge 3 as follows:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Disconnect your tracker from the charging cable.

You can also restart your tracker from your wrist. Open the Settings app and tap About > Reboot Device

Let me know if the odd behavior stops, I'll be looking forward to your response. 😉

I did restart it and it stopped doing it for about 5 minutes and then went right back to doing it again
