I’ve had a Charge 3 for a while now, using it with my iPhone 5S which has an IOS 12, but it suddenly packed in and I was sent a replacement. However, it now appears that the Charge 3 is no longer compatible with my IPhone 5S as it now only works with IOS 13 and above. I was wondering, does anyone know when Fitbit updated the Charge 3 to work with IOS 13 and would any updates have affected my old Charge 3.

Hi there, @blackcat8. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand where your concern is coming from.
As @LZeeW has mentioned, to set up and use your Fitbit products and services, you must install the Fitbit app on a compatible device running one of the following operating systems:
If by any chance you have an Android phone that meets the requirements described above or even another iOS that does meet the requirements, you can set up your new Charge 3. See these guidelines for more information about setting up Fitbit products and services.

@blackcat8 Fitbit changed the minimum operating system requirement for both Android and iPhone about a month ago. You need iOS 13 and the current Fitbit app to set up a new, replacement device. You don't give any specifics about why your previous Charge 3 stopped working. It may or may not be related. A moderator told a user in a different forum that a device would continue to sync with the older version app. I used to have an older iPad that couldn't get updated to the current app. I could sync with my current iPhone, but not the older iPad.
You should consider replacing your iPhone, even if it otherwise meets your current needs (except for your Fitbit, of course). The iPhone 5s isn't supported by Apple and won't get any security updates.
