Charge 3 is non-stop vibrating and it's flickering between screens

Since yesterday, my fitbit has continued to buzz every few seconds and when i look at it, it has flipped to the "wake screen/notification" screen.  I have tried 3 different methods of restarting it (as per this forum and youtube), including letting the battery drain and then plugging it in to fully recharge.  I have tried using the app to "set up device".  I have tried turning the "wake screen" off (even though i prefer it on), but even off, it continues to buzz and light up every few seconds.  My app seems to be working fine and tracking everything.  Yesterday my fitbit froze on 9800 steps, whereas hours later my app showed that i was at 11000 steps.  So it seems like the app is okay and my fitbit is communicating well with my app.  But rather the fitbit itself is glitching and i am out of ideas.  (My fitbit was given to me in January and i only really started wearing it with any consistency in March, so it seems a little early for things to be going wrong).

I started having similar issues today, my Fitbit is acting as if someone is pressing the aide button or swiping on the screen, but I'm not doing anything. I feel it vibrating as if I pressed the aide button, but I'm not. Even if I do not move my hand or wrist at all, the clock face will randomly change.

I ended up emailing fitbit support and i got this response.
We would like you to try a long restart for your Charge 3 since we are aware that in some cases this specific step fix the issue, please try the long restart and let us know how it goes :

Connect the device to the charging cable.
While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
The device turns off.
The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.
I did try what they said, but it didn’t work for me. They then sent me a new pebble in the mail and it’s working fine. Maybe give this a try and if it still doesn’t stop glitching, emailing fitbit support. Hope that helps!
