Charge 3 is not auto-recognizing my activities

I have had a new Charge 3 for two weeks now and and last week it auto recognised a swim correctly and this week nothing. Last week bike rides were registered, but yesterday it logged two short bike rides of 20 and 30 mins in the afternoon, but nothing for the 2 hours plus I did in the morning!

I have read the links re help for other users similar issues and I still don't have a clue why this is happening or how to rectify it. Both are set up to auto log after 10 mins.

I specifically purchased this to record swim and bike as well as steps.

This issue was escalated to our team and it should be solved now. If you're still experiencing issues with SmartTrack, please restart your Charge 3 and try again.

Hello, 

 

I have a Charge 3 and recently have been having issues with the auto recognize of exercises off/on too. I have followed instructions to disable, restart app, reset to recognize again and that worked for a couple days and yesterday stopped again.   

 

With your last note this was a system issue and not related to specific fitbit and is fixed?
